How do we do it?
All small dogs are swaddled like a baby for a calming effect. Our "pet hygienists" wrap their legs around the larger dogs.
All pets lie on their backs on the hygienist's lap. It is quite cozy! It is amazing! Pets receive calming herbs or essential oils if needed. This is a thorough, under-the-gumline cleaning. It is best to begin this procedure when your pet is young.
I will also teach you how to "brush" your pet's teeth at home with gauze and coconut oil. Your pet will be more receptive to our manipulations if he or she is used to having teeth cared for at home.

Some senior pets who have never had this procedure panic and cannot be done. Suppose we identify health or emotional issues which require blood work before we proceed and/or anesthetic procedures. In that case, we are quick to refer you back to your regular veterinarian or we can perform blood testing and refer you to appropriate professionals for under-anesthesia dental radiographs or extractions. If we need to turn you away, we are all disappointed, but there is no charge from us. If you choose to have me perform blood testing then there is an exam fee and bloodwork fee.
Please contact me directly for a cost estimate and to schedule for teeth cleaning. Some pet parents email pics of the mouth to me in advance. This can be helpful.
Prices range from $185 to $210.
There may be additional charges for antibiotics or large or difficult dogs or some special breeds. You may pay with cash, check, or credit card.
